WA Day at Elizabeth Quay
4th June 2017 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Elizabeth Quay
Perth Makers Market is proud to be bringing a selection of our stallholders to the WA Day Festival at Elizabeth Quay! We can be located under the big top in the centre of the quay from 10:00am - 7:00pm on Sunday June 4th.
It might be cooling down but don’t be fooled, Elizabeth Quay will be heating with the WA Day Festival returning to the riverside setting again in 2017. Foodies, families and fun-seekers alike will be kept busy by a five-star, carefully curated program of food and wine, entertainment and activities to showcase and celebrate all things Western Australia. Tastebuds will be tantalised by a swathe of international food trucks representing the state’s melting pot of culture; think tacos, bao, crepes and burgers. Those after a more sophisticated bite can indulge in a plate by some of Perth’s favourite restaurants and bars, accompanied by a glass of Western Australian wine, of course!
Families can take a dive in to the deep blue and immerse themselves in an underwater wonderland where there will be activities, entertainers and workshops a plenty for the kids, and not to mention a tonne of giveaways. There will also be plenty of hot coffee for Mum and Dad too.
Sunday will be a shopaholic’s delight, with Perth Makers’ Market taking residence under the Centre Stage Big Top and showcasing the wares of local artisans, while local musicians and performers entertain the crowds throughout the day. The WA Celebrity Signature Dish cook-off will see Justin Langer (WACA Head Coach), Pete Curulli (mix94.5), Rayne Embley (Blogger) and Mark Gibson (Today Tonight, Channel 7) don the Chef Whites and face off in the pop-up kitchen.
