Shannon Hinkle Creative

Shannon Hinkle is a multi-disciplinary artist originally from America, living and making in Fremantle, Australia. Starting with a practice in Lampwork glass over 20 years ago, focusing on jewellery design and sculpture she learned her love of colour and pattern. Shannon now has a vibrant studio practice in Freo continuing to make glass beads/jewellery and moving into small vessels. Since arrival in Australia, Shannon has loved processing through painting. Deep feeling and emotion expressed in paintings that are vibrant, and relate well to the shapes and styles found in her wearable work. In Fremantle, Shannon has had her works on display multiple times at the Fremantle Church Arts space as well as an August exhibition at Guildford Village Potters with more exhibitions to come in 23/24.
