Tenderness Ceramics
Victoria Paxton is the founder behind Tenderness Ceramics. She is a self-taught Australian based ceramic artist working from her home studio in Perth.
Each piece is designed as a sculptural language and transformed as a unique expression of Victoria’s language. The clay is her way of telling stories of our beautiful surroundings.
All vases have soft organic curves, movements and clean lines. Stoneware clay is used and the original colours of the clay creates a unique, earthy, texture and raw personality.
All of Victoria’s work is created by hand using the coiling and slab building techniques. This technique uses minimal tools over a number of days and it can take to create a sculpture from 4-6 weeks.
This process allows for thoughtful modification of the shape, texture and balance.
