Here at Perth Makers Market we are passionate about education; whether that is us educating our stallholders, undertaking learning opportunities ourselves, or helping you with your education. If you are studying at Tafe or University and are interested in learning from us please get in touch! In order to undertake an internship with Perth Makers Market, it must count towards your studies.

As part of the internship you will work at the picturesque location of Heathcote Cultural Precinct in Applecross with the guidance of Erin - Founder and Director of Perth Makers Market and Erin Madeley Consulting, as well as Andrea - Communications Assistant. It is the perfect opportunity to gain real world experience in a small business, allowing you to dabble in various aspects of managing and promoting an events business.
Your Role May Involve:
- Identifying and producing content for marketing purposes Research of opportunities
- Media release writing
- General office administration
- Responding to messages, emails and comments about the market Event assistance
To Be Successful In This Role:
- Recognise the importance of supporting small local business
- In your second or final year of study
- An ambitious and hardworking person
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be creative
- Be organised
Although the internship itself is unpaid, if you work on event days you will be paid as a casual employee. In order to work during our events you must hold a current First Aid Certificate
